Kristen and Patrick met during early fall in 2017. Kristen was working the lunch shift at Applebee's in Paramus, New Jersey when Patrick and a friend came in for lunch. After striking up a good conversation, and Patrick nicely asking a table of high school kids to stop throwing fries across the room, Patrick left Kristen his phone number on his receipt (which she still has today). A few months later, they decided to just stay friends to focus on school and their careers.

Then in spring 2021, Patrick and Kristen started talking more often again. Once summer started, they began taking day trips to Beach Haven, LBI, on Sundays, as they both have childhood memories there. June 13, 2021, they took their trip to Beach Haven and decided to make their relationship official again. From there they had so many adventures together, including taking the dogs to Carolina Beach, NC. In 2022, they relocated to Jackson, NJ.

On their two year anniversary, June 13, 2023, they took a trip back to Beach Haven for dinner to celebrate their love for one another. Kristen, as oblivious as she can be, did not think twice when Patrick stated he wanted to go take pictures by the water in Bay Village. Kristen also did not notice the photographer that captured Patrick getting down on one knee and asking the most important question she'd ever been asked. And of course she responded, "Of Course!".

As the rest of their story is still being written, these have been their favorite chapters so far.
