Kristen and Cory both would say that they found each other when they least expected it. They both had many opportunities to meet each other before they did but were both in very different phases of life but they found their way back to one another. They would not have met if it weren't for a silly dating app because Cory never stayed in Platteville and Kristen never left Platteville. The couple have not always had it easy, in fact they both have had to work very hard but they have done it together and accomplished many goals because the other believed in them.

They always say that they are "better together".

2020

Kristen and Cory met through unconventional ways. Although they both attended UW-Platteville and spent 80% of their time in Russell Hall taking classes in Dairy Science and Crop & Soil Science they never met until they both swiped right (a few times). The couple communicated back and forth for probably a year on and off but then COVID happened. Kristen was at the infamous Bass House one chilly -30 degree Thursday night and Cory told her he would walk there to meet her... she did not let him walk a mile there. They did not officially meet until September 2020 when school was back in session and this time they only lived 3 houses from each other.

Their first year together it was like they had known each other a lifetime.

2021

Adopted their first cat Cabela!

Cory graduated from UW-Platteville!

Kristen and Cory moved in together with her friends Devinn & Lexi.

2022

Kristen graduated from UW-Platteville.

Cory asked Kristens father Matt for his blessing next to the port-a-potty at Wo-Zha-Wa Festival in Kristens hometown Wis Dells. (What an interesting location he chose)

Kristen and Cory got engaged on her birthday at The Children's Ranch!!!

Kristen and Cory moved into their first house together and then 8 months later they bought their first home in Prairie du Chien! They also got a second puppy named Brandy at this time.

2023

The couple had a busy year of planning, job changes, and many other things life threw their way including Cory's mother passing away from a long battle of cancer. There have been many loses in their lives the past few years that they are sad will not be with them on their big day but they know they will be there in spirit.

2024

Kristen brought home another kitten named Velvet and 8 baby chicks. (Cory is never surprised by what she will bring home next)

Many weddings, showers, bachelorette/bachelor parties attended.
