Like most millennials, Kale and Kristen didn't meet at school, or in church, or at the grocery store, the gym, or the bar.

They met in the wonderful world of dating apps.

After the many years of right swipes, left swipes, super-likes, and fire emojis, they finally found one another three miles down the road from each other, through the internet.

First date was on Kristen's 31st birthday (7-19-21), grabbing a beer at Big Wood Brewery in White Bear Lake where they shut the joint down at the late, late hour of 10 pm. Nineteen months later on 2-1-23 Kale got down on one knee in the snow at Tamarack Nature Center at sundown and asked for a lifetime together.
