We&nbsp;matched&nbsp;on&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;Dating&nbsp;—&nbsp;a&nbsp;simple&nbsp;swipe&nbsp;that&nbsp;changed&nbsp;everything.&nbsp;Jason’s&nbsp;very&nbsp;first&nbsp;message&nbsp;was,&nbsp;“I&nbsp;like&nbsp;your&nbsp;style.”&nbsp;From&nbsp;there,&nbsp;the&nbsp;conversation&nbsp;flowed&nbsp;effortlessly,&nbsp;full&nbsp;of&nbsp;laughs,&nbsp;curiosity,&nbsp;and&nbsp;connection. After&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;weeks&nbsp;of&nbsp;talking,&nbsp;we&nbsp;planned&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;in&nbsp;person&nbsp;on&nbsp;December&nbsp;20th,&nbsp;2021.&nbsp;But&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;funny&nbsp;turn&nbsp;—&nbsp;the&nbsp;place&nbsp;I&nbsp;picked&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;actually&nbsp;exist!&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;thought&nbsp;I&nbsp;stood&nbsp;him&nbsp;up,&nbsp;but&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;messages&nbsp;later,&nbsp;we&nbsp;found&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;We&nbsp;laughed&nbsp;about&nbsp;it,&nbsp;talked&nbsp;without&nbsp;pause&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;hour,&nbsp;and&nbsp;ended&nbsp;the&nbsp;night&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;kiss. The&nbsp;very&nbsp;next&nbsp;day&nbsp;was&nbsp;Jason’s&nbsp;birthday.&nbsp;I&nbsp;told&nbsp;him&nbsp;no&nbsp;one&nbsp;should&nbsp;be&nbsp;alone&nbsp;on&nbsp;their&nbsp;birthday,&nbsp;so&nbsp;he&nbsp;came&nbsp;over&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;watched&nbsp;a&nbsp;movie&nbsp;together.&nbsp;That&nbsp;was&nbsp;date&nbsp;#2. Date&nbsp;#3?&nbsp;It&nbsp;never&nbsp;ended. Since&nbsp;then,&nbsp;we’ve&nbsp;shared&nbsp;a&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;sports,&nbsp;travel,&nbsp;and&nbsp;unforgettable&nbsp;experiences.&nbsp;We’re&nbsp;not&nbsp;just&nbsp;growing&nbsp;in&nbsp;love&nbsp;—&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;building&nbsp;a&nbsp;life.&nbsp;Together,&nbsp;forever.

Kristen and Kelsey met at work, but their real bond began over lunches at Monterrey — where chips, queso, and margaritas were basically the employee benefits. What started as coworkers quickly turned into concert-going, margarita-sipping, queso-devouring besties.

From jamming out to Fall Out Boy to throwing it back with Ludacris, Kristen and Kelsey (along with Jason and Chris) have mastered the art of double dates with great music and even better company. Now, their daughters are 2nd generation besties — continuing the legacy of strong opinions on queso and impeccable taste in playlists.

Kelsey’s been there for lunch breaks, life chats, and loud concerts — and now, she’s here to help Kristen rock the biggest stage yet: the wedding aisle.

Holly and Kristen met in college and have been inseparable ever since. After graduation, they each moved to Des Moines, where their friendship grew stronger through a solid routine of drinks and apps, volleyball games (equal parts competition and chaos), and girl day dates that somehow always ended in us telling each other how grateful we are for our friendship — usually over delicious food.

Whether we were attempting to solve the world’s problems or just deciding which happy hour to hit next, Holly has been Kristen’s Jiminy Cricket, sounding board, and professional Realtor. She’s basically family, and it’s only fitting she’s standing by Kristen’s side on the big day — after all, she's been there for all the important ones.

Kristen and Nicole go way back — like basketball jerseys, jet ski rides, and endless loops up and down “The Ave” kind of back. They grew up together causing just the right amount of trouble and mastering the art of small-town fun. After college, they kept the adventure going and moved to Des Moines together, because obviously, the dynamic duo wasn't ready to retire.

Now, their daughters are 2nd generation besties, keeping the tradition of chaos, friendship, and sass alive. Nicole has been there through every phase of Kristen’s life — from driveway hoops to play dates — and there’s no one better to bring lifelong memories (and probably a few embarrassing stories) to the celebration.

Madina is Kristen’s daughter and the tiny tornado of talent that keeps everyone on their toes — literally. Jason proudly accepted her as his own, and together, they form her ultimate cheer squad.

Madina is a black belt in karate (yes, she could totally take down someone twice her size — but only if they mess with her chocolate). She's recently taken on competitive swimming, because apparently being amazing at one sport wasn’t enough. Whether she’s breaking boards or breaking personal records in the pool, Madina’s determination, energy, and awesomeness are unmatched.

She may be small, but she’s a force — and a reminder that this wedding isn’t just about two people coming together, it’s about a family built on love, support, and cheering loudly from the sidelines.

Jason and Vince met in college as fraternity brothers, quickly forming a strong bond. They ended up living together for over eight years, becoming more like family than friends. Their friendship has taken them on countless adventures across the U.S. and around the world—sharing unforgettable experiences, laughs, and memories every step of the way.

Jason and Matt first met on their college soccer team, where a shared love for the game sparked a strong friendship. From early morning practices to late-night matches, their bond grew stronger on and off the field. Their friendship has only deepened over the years, fueled by their mutual love for the sport—and especially for their hometown team, Atlanta United.

Matt Hill

Jason and his younger brother Josh, just a year and a half apart, grew up as inseparable partners in crime. From sunup to sundown, they were either on the field playing baseball, basketball, soccer, or golf—or causing harmless havoc around the house and neighborhood. Whether it was competitive games in the backyard or wild adventures on their bikes, their childhood was full of energy, laughter, and brotherly mischief that built a lifelong bond.

Josh Baker

Jason and Tony have shared a special bond since the very beginning—Jason was at the hospital the day Tony was born. Not long after, they lived together for a few years, forming a connection that felt more like family than friendship. From kicking around a ball to battling it out in video games, Jason and Tony have always shared a love for sports and games. Tony learned everything he knows about video games from Jason, who proudly holds the title of never losing to Carl. Jason has become the go-to tie breaker for family squabbles whether in Tony's favor or not.

The wedding ceremony and reception are across the parking lot from the Glacier Canyon Lodge.

Guests may arrive at noon the day of check-in to receive water park wristbands, prior to official check-in at 4:00pm. 

Water park wrist bands are given at check-in for each guest.

These rooms are a part of the Resort but on the opposite side from where the wedding ceremony and reception are being held. These rooms will be more like hotel rooms layouts.
