Our Wedding

Kristen and Derek's story all began with Derek's low back pain.....no, seriously. In January of 2022, he started physical therapy with Kristen at her clinic. They were still required to wear masks at the time, but the first time they saw each other in the waiting room, it was over. Even though they kept things professional, it was clear there was a definite connection. Kristen can neither confirm nor deny that she would get nervous and have to regroup prior to Derek coming in for his appointments! Derek tried for many weeks to work up the courage to ask Kristen out and would give himself pep talks before his appointments. At this point, Kristen's entire clinic knew she had a crush on Derek and sometimes she would utilize her assistants to try to find out how the heck this guy could be single! After many sessions of Derek not pulling the trigger or having several interrupted attempts, he finally got his chance in March. Of course Kristen said yes (it was about time!), and Derek's response to that was "wait, really?". They went out on their first date a week later &amp; the rest is history! DISCLAIMER: No HIPPA violations were made during this time :)
