Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

Invitations will be mailed out soon! We ask that you please RSVP by January 31st, 2026. You can do so directly on this website, or if that is not an option for you, we don't mind if you contact Ryan or I directly. There will NOT be an RSVP card provided with the invitations so as to avoid snail mail from misplacing anything (and saving on stamps!).

What time should you arrive?

We ask that you arrive around 4pm in order to start the ceremony as promptly as possible at 430pm.

Do you have to travel between ceremony and reception?

No! Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception (and after party!) will all be at the same location! Hooray for convenience!

Is there a hotel nearby if you’d like to stay overnight?

Yes! There are actually 2 hotels right next door! You can park at the hotel and then walk right over to the reception. It’s so easy! Accommodation information is detailed under the travel section of this website.

Is it kid-friendly?

As much as we love all of your little ones, this will be an adult only event. Keep in mind, there will be some kids there, but those kids will be apart of the festivities as flower girls and ring bearers. Please do not take offense to them being there as if we didn’t want to have yours. We promise that is not the case! And we are happy to provide you with a pretty epic date night! Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Yes and no. It’s a wedding, duh, so formal wedding attire please! I only ask that you please don't consider wearing white, for obvious reasons :) For the ladies, the outdoor ceremony space is a stone patio, so you shouldn't have any issue if you'd like to wear heels. The only difference is for the after party. Since it will be casual and take place on the outdoor patio (weather pending of course) you can be as comfortable as you want! Don’t worry, I plan on changing as well! Keep in mind it is going to be spring in New York, which means unpredictable weather unfortunately. So plan accordingly. The venue does have an indoor option for the ceremony if it is needed.

Can you bring a date?

Unfortunately plus 1’s will not be available to everyone due to limited seating. Those that are able to bring someone will be informed separately. Thank you for understanding!

What’s the vibe of the night?

The goal is to have fun! It’s a celebration after all! Make sure you bring your dancing shoes :)

What is the food/bar situation?

The cocktail hour will have an abundance of snacky foods and then later on we will have a buffet style dinner with a TON of options. And of course an open bar with all the good stuff! We will also be coming up with a couple of signature drinks too :)

Indoor or outdoor?

We are having an outdoor ceremony (weather pending of course. accommodations will be made if it has to be moved inside). And cocktail hour/reception will be indoor. There is a patio area as well if you wanted to get some fresh air at any time.

Do we have a gift registry?

Yes we do! Our only registry is on amazon, you can search for it under our names! They should have everything ship directly to our house, but if you'd like it shipped to you, make sure you change that at checkout before ordering! We will also have a card box at the wedding for collection if you choose to bring one. Of course I would like to mention that gifts are absolutely not necessary! We are more than happy to just have you there to celebrate the day with us. We will be grateful enough with your presence!

Do we have a preference with photo taking?

We have hired a wonderful photography team to capture our day, so during the ceremony we ask that you please try to refrain from taking your own photos as it could be a distraction or get in the way of the photographers. After the ceremony, you can take all the pictures you'd like! The more candid, the better! We will also have an open air photo booth provided by the DJ that has photo and video options, so make sure you take advantage of that!

More about the after party...

If you choose to stay after 10pm when the reception ends, the venue will graciously allow us to utilize their outdoor patio (again weather permitting) to have an after party! The catch is that we have to provide our own food/drinks and entertainment. But they will allow us to bring coolers with our own drinks, and they will have a trashcan out there so we can clean up when we are finished. There is no time limit for how long we can stay there, but after a long day I'm sure it won't be too late!
