Q + A

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

We prefer to NOT have kids as it will be an ADULT THEMED wedding (aka lots of drinking and partying), and we just don’t want anything to go wrong, for anyone to get hurt or for anyone to feel left out while watching their kids, in an open forest. However we totally understand when it’s not feasible to leave kids at home so we will have some available spots saved for certain people. Be sure to check out the wedding invitation RSVPs to see if a reserved slot is available for you to bring your kids (but if possible, try to find a baby sitter still). If their name or "Plus One" is not included when you RSVP then I'm afraid we do not have the space for them, our Head Count is limited and we hope you understand. NOTE: Ask us directly about kids under the age of 3

Can I bring a Plus One?

Only Guests that have a Plus One pop up when they RSVP can actually bring a Plus One. When you search your name in the RSVP search bar (and hit "search") it will show your "group" including you, for each Event RSVP. If you search your name and no one pops up as "Plus one" or their name with yours then you do NOT get to bring a plus one. We have limited Headcount and will not be paying extra for uninvited guests. Yes this includes your kids! If you don't have a "plus one" option available but bring a plus one ANYWAYS then you better bring them a chair and their own food/drink. Uninvited guest will be escorted off the property if necessary! Please respect our Guest List options/requirements.

Will there be onsite parking?

Yes, however it is limited space on the property. So we suggest carpooling with someone you know is going to the wedding. This way we can avoid people having to park out on the main road and having to walk all the way up to the venue. It really all depends on the size of each vehicle too. If a lot of people drive vans and trucks and no one carpools, there will be less parking spaces. However, there will also be someone to help with valet parking (Jeff, the venue owner). Jeff said he can park guests vehicles for them or direct them into each space. When you arrive to the Venues gate, please wait for Jeff to assist you.

What should you wear for the wedding?

Please be sure to bring a jacket and semi formal but comfy shoes(at least for photos). Otherwise it’s totally fine if you just wanna wear comfy shoes in general! That means you, ladies! You probably don’t want to wear stiletto's/3+ inch heels since we will be outside on a mountain with no sidewalks. Semi formal/formal attire is expected, but feel free to get creative and add a Viking touch to your look to match the wedding theme (not required or expected). Only other thing we ask is for guest to AVOID WEARING ALL WHITE (for obvious reasons). the color scheme is dark/Jewel tones, but feel free to wear any color (besides white!)

Is smoking allowed?

NO. Due to the venues location no open fires or even cigars/cigarettes will be permitted on or near the premises. VAPING however is fine, just restrain from blowing large clouds during the ceremony please. Also, please no weed pens! You will have to walk away from the ceremony/reception if you use a weed pen, regardless of "flavor". This is our personal preference, so please be courteous/respectful to our needs and others.

Is BYOB allowed?

Update: we will not have BYOB. To make it easier on the bartenders who have limited space in their coolers, only what we provide will be available to drink during the wedding. If you specifically want Coronas, Ultras, or bud light, then please let us know by Sep. 30th and purchase some to give to us prior to the wedding so we may give them to the bartenders. (Available drinks will be on menu provided by the bartenders)

Will everyone get a photo with the bride & groom?

Yes and no. Only a couple close friends/family members will have the opportunity to get a few professional photos with the wedding party, however we will have instant/disposable cameras around that we want everyone to use! Phones are totally ok if you want your own photos as well during the reception. For those who are included in the professional photos you will be asked to stay back after the ceremony.

Will there be assigned seating?

Yes and No, its more like there will be a few RESERVED seats for guest but the rest will be open seating! This goes for both the ceremony and reception. Names will be on a sign, if you don't see your name then find a seat anywhere there isn't a Reserved sign. NOTE: Keep in mind that there will be an exact amount of 60 chairs, meaning everyone will be sitting right next to one another if everyone on our guest list shows up.
