On Friday, December 7th, 2018—after several reschedules and a lot of nervous energy—Patrick and Kristen finally had their first date. It was also the first time they’d ever met.

Kristen calls it a “true blind date.” Pat, however, had done his homework (thank you, social media), so he had a slight advantage.

That night turned into hours of conversation, laughter, and the kind of connection you can’t fake. The very next day, they had their second date—because when you know, you know.

Since then, life has been a mix of calm and chaos: Pat is the steady, grounded, unwavering force, and Kristen is the loud, boisterous, emotional tornado. Somehow, it works perfectly.

Fast forward a few years, and Pat proposed in Amsterdam after a visit to the Van Gogh Museum—a dream come true for Kristen and the perfect start to their next chapter.

On June 13, they’ll finally make it official—no reschedules this time.
