What is the dress code?
The attire for the ceremony and the reception is Black Tie Optional. Men will feel most comfortable in tuxedos or dark colored suits. Women will feel most comfortable in gowns or floor-length dresses.
What time does the ceremony start?
The ceremony begins promptly at 2:30 pm. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to park and find your seat!
Where do I park for the ceremony?
Guests need to provide their own transportation to and from the church ceremony. St. Catharine’s does not have a parking lot, but there is ample street parking surrounding the church!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are requesting an “unplugged” ceremony. Phones should be kept away and put on silent mode. Pictures can be taken before or after the ceremony!
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Yes! We have blocked rooms at the Marriott listed on the travel tab of this website. Please click on the link to book!
After the ceremony
Guests staying at the Marriott are encouraged to head to the hotel during this time to relax and check in. The first shuttle will arrive at 5PM and depart at 5:15PM.
What time is hotel check in?
Hotel check in begins at 4 PM.
Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel?
Yes! We have a shuttle that will run from 5-6:30PM and 11-12:30AM. The first shuttle will depart promptly at 5:15 PM going to cocktail hour. Returning to the hotel, the first shuttle will depart at 11:15PM.
How far is the reception hall from the ceremony?
The Grand Marquis is about a 40 minute drive from St. Catharine’s.
Can I bring my kids or a date?
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. We can only allow the people named on your invitation.
