Back in September-ish 2017, they were both working at Purina in different departments. Around 4:30 every day though, they both walked from their separate buildings to the gym in the main building's (tower) basement.

One day, Jim and his workout buddies asked Kristen and a few others if they wanted to join them for an Insanity video. It blossomed from there.

Kristen started joining Jim's group regularly.

She thought he was pretty cute and he liked her assets, oh and dedication to working out.

However, Jim had a very strict rule about not dating anyone from work.

Well, lo and behold, Purina eliminates the Project Management department and Jim said LET'S GO TO HAPPY HOUR!!!

So Kristen's last day at Purina became their first date - April 6th, 2018 - at the now defunct Vin De Set.

They hit it off and stayed at "happy hour" for hours and hours.

They went on a 2nd date to Oceano because Jim knew Kristen liked seafood and was trying to impress her. It worked.

By their 3rd date (Sasha's and then Peel), Kristen was hooked and texted her friend that Jim was gonna be her new boyfriend.

Around the 6-month mark, they took their first trip to Mexico together with Jim's family. This is where Jim said "I love you".

In March of 2020, before the COVID shut-downs, Jim moved in to Kristen's house. Then the shut downs happened and they survived!!!! In fact, they grew closer together, hunkering down and watching a lot of movies.

On their 4-year anniversary, Jim popped the question and per their routine, it was right after their morning workout video. Kristen had no idea it was coming.

So finally after nearly 6 years together, they are officially becoming lifelong partners.
