Joey and Kristen’s story started years before they dated - It all began one summer day back in 2008 when Joey was scrolling MySpace with one of his friends. He noticed Kristen’s profile picture on a mutual friend’s profile and thought she was beautiful. Being typical pre-teen boys, Joey’s friend Edwin dared Joey to add Kristen and strike up a conversation. Joey, always up for dares, immediately added Kristen and they began to talk from there. They quickly realized how much they had in common and a friendship soon followed. Joey and Kristen were good friends for all of high school and college. They rarely got to see each other, but once they did it was like no time had passed. Every time they spoke it would be for hours on end and they would never grow bored of one another. They confided in each other through break ups and other life events, becoming comfortable sharing anything. All in all, they were always there for one another through every stage in life. They both knew they had feelings for each other deep down, but the timing was never right. In 2017, when Kristen and Joey were both out of relationships, they spent a lot more time together. While they decided not to date at this point in time, their friendship remained to grow stronger. With their shared love of metal music and horror movies - many of their nights together were spent going to concerts and watching different movie franchises. As the months went on they could no longer deny that their feelings were growing into more than friendship. They were simply made for each other. On July 19, 2018, Joey (finally) decided to take the next step in their relationship and officially make Kristen his girlfriend. 6 years down the road- and 150+ metal concerts later, Joey and Kristen are looking forward to saying “I Do” and spending the rest of their lives together.
