Norfolk International Airport (ORF) is the closest airport to our venue and hotel accommodations. It is approximately 18 miles away and roughly a 30-min drive. Richmond International Airport (RIC) would be the next closest airport to our venue and hotel accommodations. It is approximately 116 miles away and roughly a 1 hour and 45 minute drive.

Our wedding venue is the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club located near the oceanfront on 1052 Cardinal Road. This is a private country club that can not be seen from the road. The Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club is within close vicinity of the Historic Cavalier Hotel, however these establishments are not affiliated with each other. We do not have any wedding events scheduled at the Cavalier Hotel throughout the weekend.

To stay in line with the Cavalier's specific dress code, we recommend Formal/Semi-Formal attire. For men, the minimum requirement is a jacket and a tie. For women, either a short or long dress. The ceremony will be held outside on a lawn. For shoes, we recommend block heels or something with a wider heel so as to not sink into the grass. No flip flops, please.
