Our story begins nine years ago when Benjamin asked Kristen to the senior year prom. Kristen, at the time, was preparing to attend a prestigious horse show but realized that attending prom with Ben was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. From that moment on, they were inseparable and began their journey through their young adult lives together.

Kristen and Benjamin's relationship grew as they attended different universities, Kristen studying neuroscience and Spanish and Benjamin business and computer science. They found shared interests in traveling the world, boating in Northern Michigan, and a love for dogs, which resulted in welcoming their Goldendoodle, Harlow, to their small family.

Their next adventure would be Kristen's journey through medical school in Chicago. During these years, they realized that they could not imagine life without one another, and Kristen excitedly accepted Ben's proposal at Mission Point Lighthouse near Traverse City. So here we are to celebrate that lifelong commitment together, surrounded by family and friends in a location that means the world to them!
