The catholic ceremony will be held by San Ysidro Parish. During this mass, guests will witness the Sacrament of Marriage. Holy matrimony is a covenant, which is more than a contract. Covenant always expresses a relationship between persons. The marriage covenant refers to the relationship between the husband & wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing & loving each other through & with God.
"Father, you have made the union of man and wife so holy a mystery that it symbolizes the marriage of Christ and his Church."
Guests of all faiths are welcome to attend mass in a Catholic Church. Non-Catholics are welcome to be present for the celebration, but ONLY Catholics in a state of grace are able to receive Holy Communion during Mass.
