He always has been and always will be the Groom's greatest role model. He has made endless sacrifices for the Groom along the way, and he also had to put up with a lot of the Groom's complaining through high school and college.

This wedding is quite possibly the best day of his life because his wildest child is getting married off. When Nick asked for his blessing Paul lovingly said, "No returns!" Paul has always been quick to come help the Bride whenever she needs it. From popped tires, to moving in and out of dorms, and taking the Bride and her sisters to go shopping, he has always been there.

From building beautiful holiday traditions, to dancing with the kids in the kitchen, to creating totally undecipherable nicknames and catchphrases for everyone and everything, she made growing up magical for the Groom and his sisters and taught him how to live joyfully.

Of all the children, the Bride is most like her mother. This means that they can be two peas in a pod or drive each other a little crazy! The Bride has always admired how dedicated her mother has been to caring for her children and has set a great example of how to raise a family.

Cousin of the Groom and as close as it gets to a brother, On most days they were separated by a few hundred miles, but when they got time, they spent a lot of it navigating early life together and sharing in each others interests. Nick has few childhood memories that he treasures more than playing basketball with Aidan, Nick's dad, and Aidan's dad, Jason.

Younger sister of the bride and her dearest friend in the world. They have been through everything together (growing up, homeschool, college, and now a wedding). She has been through all the bride's overthinking and wild planning and has been the sweetest, most gentle friend a girl could ask for.

Friend, former teammate, and former roommate of the Groom. Likes to take credit for Nick and Kristen getting together...and we give it to him! From their earliest days at BCU, Nick and Aiden did everything together (they even spent an entire summer living together at Nick’s grandparents). Currently acting as a Christian Youth Pastor in San Antonio, Aiden also challenged and inspired Nick to go deeper in his Faith.

A dear friend of the bride. They became friends after saying yes to moving into the same dorm room without really knowing each other and have been inseparable ever since. Chelsey had the best reaction to finding out Nick and Kristen were engaged. The Bride is placing bets that she cries the most on the wedding day.

The bride begged to be in the wedding, who he said no to. But as soon as Nick asked, he said yes. He seems to be pretty excited to be getting a brother to make him only slightly less outnumbered!

The bride's older sister insisted that she be part of the wedding party. Once she found out that she was walking down the aisle with her younger brother, she no longer wanted to be in the wedding party... They have had countless late-night conversations about dating advice and all their crazy college stories.

Friend of the Bride and Groom. Used to go on lunch dates with Nick 5 days a week, which made Kristen just a little jealous. He has remained as one of Nick and Kristen's closest friends, and they frequently make trips to and from Kansas City to Visit each other

Sister of the Groom. Nick and Allie were very close growing up, and they still are! Allie is in school to start her own photography business, and she drove 7 hours across the state to graciously take the couple's engagement photos. The Bride and Groom look forward to enjoying “Redemption Street Tacos” with her in the very near future!

Friend and former roommate of the Groom. His smile is one in a million, and the Groom has repeatedly said of him that he is "the best friend at being a friend" that he knows.

Although they were two years apart, the Bride and Grace became friends through BCU's campus ministry and have continued to grow in friendship. Grace has been a wonderful friend, role model, and a sincere joy to be around. Grace is also Nick’s boss at Heelan… he hopes he hasn’t been too irritating for her.

Younger cousin to the Groom. He made his way all the way from Kyoto, taking a brief break from his studies at the University of Temple, Japan to be here in support of the couple!

Sister of the Groom. Of Nick's sisters she has the most in common with the Bride, that is personality wise. Both of them have really found their niche in that rather dynamic "middle girl of 5" role.

Friend of the Bride and Groom. Nick had to give him a raincheck on the day of the proposal, and still owes him a NBA Finals watch party! Demetry will quite possibly miss the Bride and Groom the most out of all their friends. So much so that he is talking about moving to Brookings once he graduates!

Cousin of the Groom. Created fond memories playing baseball and driving four-wheelers around their grandparents farm.

Cousin of the Groom. Blessed with Norse god-esque hair. Once mistook reindeer droppings for “bloopblerries” and has not quite lived it down…

The bride's childhood parish priest from the Omaha Archdiocese, who has become a very close family friend. It has been her dream since she was 9-years-old to have him be the priest at her wedding.

A man of many birettas, Father Crotty is the Vocations Director for the Diocese of Sioux City, as well as the Chaplain at both Bishop Heelan High School and Briar Cliff University, where he got to know the couple. Father is a passionate preacher and a joyful friend.
