Our Story

Kristen and I first met on the Parking team parking cars at our church in Auburn, ACC (of course this is where it all started). She was the cool girl from Colorado, and I was the lucky guy from Alabama getting to meet her. We talked a little bit about classes, church, and the typical college introduction, but failed to realize we had a class together. We slowly started to run into each other more frequently and ended up both staying in Auburn over the summer and being placed in the same Community group. This is where it all began! Over that summer, we became best friends before we became anything else. We got to hang out around all of our best friends, move Kristen out of an apartment, pray together, and grow closer and closer over the course of the summer. After just a couple of attempts (lol), I convinced her to go on a date with me. From that point, we have never looked back. We lived out the best senior year, were blessed enough to be brought to the same city after graduating, and now we are Engaged! If you took the time to read this and were sent an invitation, you mean a lot to us and we would not be where we are today if it weren't for you guys. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GET MARRIED!!!!

Sophia is Kristen's College Best Friend! Someone that holds so dear to both Brent and Kristen, Sophia is the most wise and intentional person you will every know. She has been Kristens rock throughout college and into adult years.  Be sure to give her a "War Eagle" at the wedding!

Kristen's childhood best friend (aka basically her sister). Mack and Kristen grew up in CO down the street from each other and have been inseparable ever since. They have spent many summers sun bathing in CA. Mackenzie is just the best person inside and out. She is someone everyone needs to know! Watch out for her breaking it down on the dance floor!

Cate = Joy and Fun! Cate is Kristens college BFF! They have done life together at Auburn and into post grad. Cate is someone you want in your corner because she brings so much life to every conversation. Brent and Kristen got close with Cate through small groups and prayer! If you need someone to give you a boost of joy, find Cate!

Lacy is Kristen and Brents friend from Auburn! They all got close through being in a prayer group together. Lacy is so intentional and such a genuine person. She is so fun to be around and is such a good friend to Brent and Kristen. If you need a listening ear at the wedding she is there:)

Hannah was Kristens roommate and is Brents Costco pizza buddy. The three of them love a good trip to Costco and bond over that often. Hannah is everyones best friend because she is just such a good person and has the best sense of humor. If you want a good laugh find Hannah!

Hannah DeLaccio

Lilly is Kristen's best friend from Auburn. They lead a community group together and their friendship has just grown from there. Brent, Lilly, and Kristen all live in Nashville together and get to do life alongside each other. Lilly has a fire in her that is just so admirable. She is also one of the funniest people I know. If you want to have a fun conversation find Lilly!

Lilly Henderson

Addison is a close friend of Brent and Kristen from college, and she and her husband Parker also live in Nashville. They all get together each week and hang out and eat good food  that Addison prepares. They've traveled to some amazing places together. Addison is one of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet—always 100% authentically herself. Brent and Kristen deeply admire both Addison and Parker, and they've leaned on them for support during this exciting engagement season. If you need cooking advice, find Addison!

Ella is Kristen's sweet younger sister. She is so smart and talented. Ella is one of the funniest people you will ever know! She will be showing you up on the dance floor with her Ballet skills.

Maddox and I became close in Auburn, after attending church together through High school and never really getting to know each other. We realized early on in college that our lives were very similar, and we very quickly became close and never looked back. We share almost identical interests and whether we hang out every day or see each other once a year, it always picks up right where it left off and feels like we never left. Maddox is a guy that anyone would be lucky to call a friend.

Doug and I grew up together and have spent more time together than pretty much anyone else I know. From 7th grade to now, if I am in town and I am free, I am probably telling my mom "I'm headed to Doug's" as I'm walking out the door. Doug is one of the funniest people I have ever met and I will never get tired of sitting on the porch and laughing late into the night. I can't imagine a time in which I don't want to take a seat and hang out with Doug. If you don't know him, you should.

Doug Turney

Bradley and I grew close in High School as both of us began to grow in our faith. We attended church together most days throughout the week, and this carried over into college as we roomed together for two years. We still call and catch up consistently and he is someone I can always rely on to talk through life, Jesus, and anything thats going on. He is the goofiest guy I know, and can also be the guy you lean on when you need it the most. Molly and Bradley are and always will be two people I am proud to call some of my best friends.

Bradley Madaris

Parker and I met sophomore year of college, and were just two awkward guys in bible study that never really talked to each other. Over the years, we continued to grow and remained a part of the same group, but really became close our senior year. We lived 4 houses apart, and spent many of our nights hanging out, laughing, and playing catan when we should've been doing literally anything else more productive. We have grown closer as we both moved to the same city after college, and I had the honor of being in his wedding in May of 20223. Parker and Addison are the purest hearted people, and he will always tell you what he thinks. Kristen and I are both so thankful for their friendship and the opportunity we have had to grow with them after college!

Parker Muery

Joel and I were a part of the same bible study where I met parker, and followed a pretty similar friendship trajectory. We became roommates on a whim Junior year, and very quickly became close. Joel is the one guy I know that will always sit down with you, hear what you have to say, and help in any scenario. He is truly a man after Gods own heart. We have spent many nights playing guitar, laughing, and once again, playing games when we shouldn't be. I watched Joel and Erin grow together from day one, and he did the same with Kristen and I. I also had the honor of standing by Joel on his wedding day, and I am excited for him to do the same for me.

Joel Duffie

Bo might just be my oldest friend on this list. Bo and I became close in 6th grade, and despite him moving away in 9th grade, never drifted apart. Bo is the one phone call I make when I want to laugh, want to talk about the outdoors, or just need to pass time. He is always ready to be there for you, and will always be a guy I can count on. He would drop what he was doing and fly across the country at the drop of a pin if I needed him to, and I wouldn't ever doubt that for a second. Despite living the furthest away from each other, I know I can always call Bo and pick up where we left off. He is always the most genuine guy, and more than that, always the life of the party.

Bo Jacobs

Brant is another one of the original boys from Springville that has spent more time with me than I could explain. Brant is the guy I call when I want to drive around, talk country music, or just yap for hours about who knows what. I have had the honor of watching him grow and we have talked about being in each others wedding since I've known him. I am excited to stand by him, and I can't wait for him to stand by me. Hes a guy everyone wants in their corner.

She is a bundle of Joy and so fun! She brings the party to any room she is in. She always knows how to make you feel so special and loved. She is the most generous person. Ann has welcomed Brent into the family and made him feel so loved. Be sure to find her on the dance floor!

Ann Sharma

Kim is Brent's mom. It's hard to meet her and not love her. She, just like her husband, loves to serve others and can talk to anyone. Its hard to walk around the small town we are from and not run into someone that knows her and loves her. Just like my dad, if you haven't met her, be sure you do! SHe would love to talk to you.

Kimberly Cowley

David is Brent's dad. He is a servant at heart. He loves the Lord.  He raised Brent to do the same. He loves to crack a good joke, and he LOVES to play with his granddog, River. If you haven't already, be sure to shake his hand on the day of the wedding. You won't regret it.

Monty will be your host for the evening and is so excited to share this evening with everyone he loves. Kristen has a very close relationship with her Father and hopes that this will be such a great Father's Day Gift!

One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Charleston, and I've eaten at quite a few! Oysters, seafood, etc. They don't accept reservations, but try it for lunch or early dinner. You won't regret it.

This is our venue, but it is also a beautiful botanical garden, and is an awesome place to spend some free time if you have it.
