We first met in August of 2020 at The Crooked Can in Hilliard, Ohio. Kristen and her parents went to grab a drink with some family friends, The Hasenkamps. It just so happens that Drew Hasenkamp is one of Alex's best friends.

Drew invited Alex and his twin brother, Zach, to join us. As soon as we were all introduced, Alex began talking to Kristen's dad, Barry. He was Alex's wing man that night and excused himself to grab more drinks at the bar, because he noticed Alex “making eyes” at Kristen.

We then proceeded to talk the rest of the night. Drew swiftly helped connect us with each other via text, we set up our first date, and made things official on September 22, 2020. The rest is history!
