It was a twist of fate that we would end up together. We met in 2009, working together at an Applebees. We were only coworkers and friends at that time. I always had a little crush on Jarrod, but he was older and life just didnβt work out for us in that way - we both had our own lives to live and lessons to learn before we would find our love story. After a few years of working together, we both moved on from the restaurant and went our separate ways.
In the summer of 2015, we crossed paths once more. That time, the universe was a bit more gracious. We dated for a short while, getting to know each other better and catching up on lost time. Unfortunately, though, that was not the right time for us, either, and that portion of the story is short lived. Life, again, took us our separate ways.
Years went by and we often thought of each other, but sometimes these things just dont work out. However, in early 2019, the stars seemed to align for us. I was the one who reached out that time, inquiring about a book I had lent to Jarrod four years prior (luckily he still had it π). Jarrod decided that that was a sign, and he decided to shoot his shot and ask me on a date. I said yes and it was, by far, the best choice I ever made!
We went on that (second) first date, and it was as if time had never moved on between us. The conversation was smooth and comfortable, nothing was strained or awkward - it was simply perfect. We started exclusively dating in March 2019 and moved in together the following March.
In June of 2022, Jarrod got down on one knee and proposed. He knew I was his forever girl - and I said yes! (The second best choice I ever made π)
The rest is history.
After fifteen years of knowing each other, five years of being together, two years of engagement, and two cats later, we are delighted to tie the knot and share our wedding, our story, and our love with you - our friends and family.
