Buena vista is located about 2.5 hours from the Denver airport. We recommend renting a car from the airport as there is no direct public transportation. You may also consider flying into Colorado Springs as an option. You can either drive through the mountains on I70 and then south on US 24 which is probably the more scenic route or you can drive south on US 285 which is a little quicker.

The ceremony and reception will be held at The Barn at Sunset Ranch which is located about 10 minutes (driving) from downtown Buena Vista. There is a large parking lot at the venue. Additionally, we have scheduled shuttle transportation from downtown to/from the venue.

Yes, we reserved a shuttle that will travel from downtown Buena Vista to the wedding venue and back for the day of the wedding. Please let us know if you would like to utilize the transportation. Otherwise, you are welcome to drive to the venue as there is plenty of parking.

The ceremony will take place outside and the reception will take place in the barn and outdoor patio. We want you to be comfortable so the dress code is dressy casual. Women: Sundresses, lightweight separates such as a long skirt and top and flats, wedge heels, or low heels Men: Light weight dress shirt or short sleeve button down with khakis or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties are optional

Unfortunately, we are unable to block hotel rooms. We recommend booking accommodation 1 year out as Buena Vista is a small town and gets busy in the summers. If you would like to stay downtown, the best options are the Best Western, Super 8, Surf Hotel, or Air BnB. The town of Buena Vista is small, but very safe and walkable. The Mt. Princeton Hot Spring Resort is about 20 min from downtown, but is another great option if you don't mind driving. Please see the travel page for links to nearby hotels.

Yes, kids are allowed at the wedding and reception. Please let us know in the RSVP if your children will be attending. The reception will be located in the barn and there is an outdoor patio with lawn games. There is an additional private room attached to the Barn if young ones need a quiet space.

Due to limited space, plus ones are limited to married couples and significant relationships only. If your invitation does not have a plus one written on it and you are in a long term relationship, please reach out to us directly and we will work to accommodate

Yes! There will be a welcome party on Friday June 27 from 6-9 pm at the Turner Farm. Drinks and a taco bar will be provided. The address is 829 W Main St, Buena Vista, CO 81211. It is located about a half mile from main street. Please carpool if possible as there is limited parking across the street.
