It all started with a swipe—or more accurately, a comment. Brian went the extra mile and left a message on a photo of me and my dog (smooth, right?). We started chatting, and it didn’t take long for him to ask, “Do you want to message back and forth for weeks, or just go on a date?” I wasn’t looking to waste time (his or mine), so I chose the date!

That was in August. By our second date, I was introducing him to some of my best friends. On our fourth date, he asked me to be his girlfriend… to which I said, “Let me think about it.” haha

Brian knew what he wanted from the beginning—and slowly but surely, I caught up. After a 10-hour road trip (each way!), a spontaneous one-day adventure to NYC, and getting the green light from the most important people in my life, I realized I was all in.

Since then, we’ve shared so many sweet moments—long walks, dinners with friends, concerts, sporting events, cooking together, family time, and lots of laughter.

In January, Brian asked my dad for his blessing to marry me (again, the man knows what he wants). Then, on Easter morning—April 20th—he got down on one knee beneath the sunset tree at my parents' house and asked me to marry him.

As we look back, we’re overwhelmed by the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness in bringing us together and we can’t wait to celebrate that with all of you on our wedding day!
