Dan and Kristi’s love story began on April 20, 2023, when fate brought them together through a dating app called Zoosk. Though they were separated by hundreds of miles—Dan in the mountain town of Granby, Colorado, and Kristi in Kennewick, Washington—the spark between them was undeniable. What seemed like an improbable romance quickly blossomed into something meaningful.

From the start, they made love a priority. Dan travels to Washington to spend time with Kristi and her son 2 to 3 times a month, while Kristi spends time in Colorado once a month to be with Dan and his daughter. They also enjoy time in Idaho to share with Kristi’s daughter, and in Utah to visit her other son and his family, and in California to spend time with Dan’s son. With five amazing kids in five different states, their hearts are full.

In May 2024, Dan asked Kristi to be his forever during a quiet, intimate moment in her home—a proposal filled with love and sincerity. During a night out with friends in CO, in December 2024, they heard about Spruce Mountain Ranch, a beautiful wedding venue in the peaceful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Ever since then, they’ve been enjoying the process of planning a wedding in order to bring all of their loved ones together.

Dan & Kristi cherish the simple things: a great cup of coffee, a yummy meal on a sunny deck, a beautiful mountain hike, fun games of pickleball with friends, game nights or a glass of wine at a lovely winery.

But above all, what matters most to them is their people. Their vision for the future is built around faith, the warmth of home, creating lasting family bonds and the joys of friendships. With that, they have everything.
