Our Wedding

&nbsp;We met through mutual friends in the 8th grade (he was in 7th), we went to the same church, Plymouth Park Baptist Church, went to church camps together, etc. We weren’t overly close friends growing up, but we knew each other and would occasionally see each other at friends houses or church continuing on until high school.&nbsp;

 We went our separate ways after high school, he went off to Oklahoma State University and I stayed and went to University of North Texas, we may have talked a couple times as friends, but that was it. He moved back to Dallas in 2015 and we reconnected summer of 2017 via a dating app. We didn’t think it was going to lead to where we are now...We dated a year and a half when he proposed and it was 2 years of dating a few short months later... Now - we're going to try this again and we have been dating 3 years, married for 7 months (when November arrives)...&nbsp;

In the beginning.. 

Jason proposed on Sunday, March 31, 2019 – little did I&nbsp;know weeks or months earlier (I&nbsp;cannot remember) he met with my parents to ask for their approval&nbsp; and had told me he was taking clients out to dinner... that sneaky guy.&nbsp;Sunday, I got ready for church and met him at his place to ride together, we attended church and then we planned to go to the Arboretum for Brunch. (Sunday are&nbsp;our days to always go to brunch and try somewhere new!)&nbsp;

We got there and walked around a little to the restaurant, DeGolyer House, they sat us at a nice table near the fireplace, it was a chilly day. We then opened the map to talk about what areas we wanted to go to. The first place on my list was the “Woman’s Garden”, and he was wanting to take a picture near the water and the beautiful view in the background.&nbsp;So, we walked there and we’re looking around and he’s like okay, okay, lets find someone to take our picture (and put down your leftovers - LOL).&nbsp;So he told me to ask a lady, but as soon as I turned back around he said “but, first&hellip;” and got down on his knee and said,&nbsp;“will you marry me?”, my initial reaction was “OMG, OMG, OMG,&nbsp;are you serious?” and then without thinking I skipped saying yes to “Thank You!” I&nbsp;did eventually say YES!!

How Jason proposed

We were both shaking and nervous because a crowd had begun to form behind me and were all watching and videoing and clapping. Safe to say it was the surprise of my life, Jason had planned for my good friends Tyler and Ande&nbsp;Darden to be there to snap a few photos and get the memories on camera. I’m thankful for that!&nbsp;

To top if off, before we headed home, we were walking around and taking it in that we were engaged. Jason says let’s wait until we get home to call our parents, lets have a moment to ourselves... Little did I know that my family and his family were all at his place awaiting us to come back and celebrate. He even made a special sign from Kaiser&nbsp;and she was wearing it around her neck, who has technically been his dog but now she is OUR dog!!!

We will be having our celebration on Friday, November 13th.

We are so grateful to be able to have another chance to celebrate with you all!!&nbsp;&nbsp;COVID-19 precautions will definitely be in place, in the hopes you will feel safe.&nbsp; The ceremony will have to take place at 4:00 PM&nbsp;due to the time change, then we will go straight to the celebration.&nbsp;

Father. Mentor. Best friend. I couldn't be more honored to have my dad be the Best Man of our wedding. Aside from being my employer (yes Dad, approve that PTO) but he has also been someone I have looked up to my whole life. From spending countless weekends on ice hockey trips, to building derby cars in the garage (always placed top 3), I couldn't ask for a more influential man to carry the ring on this day.&nbsp;

Greg Roemer

Sister, friend,&nbsp;encourager,&nbsp;literally known this lady all my life, HELLO!&nbsp;I&nbsp;know she&nbsp;hasn't ALWAYS&nbsp;been fond of me (cough- when I&nbsp;was in elementary school and she was in middle school - cough) but I am glad that our relationship has since blossomed.&nbsp; To&nbsp; having our own accents when we talk, to each other always trying to out laugh each other when something is funny.&nbsp;&nbsp;Glad I&nbsp;have you to count on!&nbsp;&nbsp;We have imagined this moment forever.&nbsp; Thankful to have you by my side through this crazy adventure and blessed by all your love.&nbsp;

Over the time that Jason and I&nbsp;have been dating I&nbsp;have been able to get to know Nicole!&nbsp;I'm so thankful for a sweet sis in love, and fellow Catan lover! We are blessed by your love and support and are glad you are standing with us on our special day.&nbsp;

Nicole Roemer

Parker has been one of my best friends since freshman year at&nbsp;good ole McArthur High School. From both of us being anchors on the school news program and getting continuously kicked off for doing funny bits, to making rap CDs until 3 am, he has always been someone I could always count on.

I&nbsp;have known this lady a long time!&nbsp;Since kindergarten, growing up together at Plymouth Park Baptist Church and although we did not go to the same schools growing up we have stayed close friends through-out life!&nbsp;I&nbsp;cannot imagine going through this experience without her.&nbsp;

Emily Johnson

Charlie and I first met attempting to play baseball when we were kids and later as we attempted to host friendly gatherings during summers in college (aka house parties).&nbsp;He is one of the smartest guys I know and the source of so many randoms stories I can't&nbsp;even count.&nbsp;Through the years he has become one of my best friends and opposition in our annual collegiate bet (OSU vs Baylor).&nbsp;

Charlie Hoedebeck 

Ande and I&nbsp;have known each other since high school. I&nbsp;am so fortunate to have loyal friend like her.&nbsp; We have faced up and downs throughout life and shes always been a constant support. I&nbsp;am so thankful that Jason had Ande and her husband Tyler film our engagement, it made the experience all the more sweeter to see them afterwards! Honored you both are here for our special day.

Andrea Darden

Rob is my brother from another mother!&nbsp;He is my fellow Catan board game playing partner,&nbsp;the father of my niece and someone I truly feel bad for having to deal with my sister all the time&nbsp;(just kidding Nicole).&nbsp;In all honesty,&nbsp;I couldn't ask for a better man to be with my sister and I am lucky to have him in my life.

Rob LaChapel 

Charlene, Cha, Charls. Myyyy girlll!&nbsp;You are a loyal friend. We go back as well, matter of fact, Danielle introduced us freshman year of high school. I&nbsp;literally would not have known any one. &nbsp;I&nbsp;am so thankful for your friendship for all these years.&nbsp;The good times rollin in the VW bug, blasting Destiny's Child. Ah. the memories, karaoke,&nbsp;. anyway, so blessed that you will be standing by my side on our special day!&nbsp;

Cory and I have officially lived together&nbsp;more than any other human I know&nbsp;(except parents). From meeting in college freshman year and&nbsp;living together in&nbsp;the notorious&nbsp;Blue House in Stillwater, to endless hours of playing FIFA or&nbsp;NHL&nbsp;(hacking chel) on Xbox,&nbsp;Cory has been one of my closest friends.&nbsp;

Corey Vanderborn

I first met Tyler at his wedding that Kristi was a bridesmaid in back when we first started dating. While I like to think Tyler and I&nbsp;became friends because of my killer dance moves at his&nbsp;wedding;&nbsp;it was really due to&nbsp;many rounds of golf, our love of scotch and always good conversation as the other girls gossip. Both him and Ande were there filming at our engagement and I couldn't be happier to have met another great friend through all of this.

Tyler Darden

DP, Dani,&nbsp;Danielle, where to start with you!&nbsp;My girl. I have know this one since well for a LONG&nbsp;time. We technically met in high school and was my first friend at Coppell High School, met at a church youth event.&nbsp; However, plot twist ---found out we were in the same dance class at Riley's back in good ole Irving, I think it was 4th&nbsp;grade because I still had glasses.&nbsp; We danced&nbsp;RIGHT&nbsp;NEXT&nbsp;TO&nbsp;EACH&nbsp;OTHER&nbsp;and had no idea. LOL&nbsp;I'm glad we were able to find those videos and reminisce. Since that time we have stayed close friends through out life's ups and downs. So honored to have you by my side for this special day.&nbsp;

Danielle Plana

Sasha&nbsp;and I both met in high school as well. I&nbsp;believe it was originally through Ande.&nbsp; Since we have spent a lot of wine nights,&nbsp;birthdays, and outings together.&nbsp; You always keep us laughing and are always someone with positive encouragement to share.&nbsp; Thankful you're apart of our special day, Sash!!!&nbsp;

Sasha Ojagh 

Em!!&nbsp;This girl right here is a wonderful friend, we originally met while working at Neiman Marcus Last Call.&nbsp; She converted me to become a Dance Jam member at Lifetime shortly there after, we got to share that love for about 3/4 years!&nbsp;#neverforget -- In all seriousness, this girl is the real deal y'all. Thank you for always being there for me and loving on me. I&nbsp;am so thankful you are apart of our special day.&nbsp;

Catie girl!&nbsp;My blonde partner in crime, we have shared many a memories.&nbsp; I&nbsp;have also known her since working at Neiman Marcus Last Call.&nbsp; She was also in the Dance Jam club!&nbsp;We also have shared tastes for Starbucks, Top Feet, and shopping, of course!&nbsp;So grateful you are apart of our day.

Teresa, Teresa!&nbsp;am I so thankful to know you. We met as colleagues at UT&nbsp;Southwestern in 2015 (I think)&nbsp;and I&nbsp;like to think we shared an instant connection for our love of Target, Nordstrom and all black clothing.&nbsp; She is someone whom I have been able to share things with regarding work and been a confidant when I felt no one could relate. Teresa, you are a gem and I am thankful you are apart of our day!&nbsp;

Sheraton McKinney Hotel

We have arranged for a 56-passenger charter bus to assist with transporting guests to and from the host hotel and the wedding venue throughout the evening.&nbsp;&nbsp;This bus is open for any guest that wishes to use it and is not just limited to those staying at the hotel.

**The bus will continue to make trips from the Grand Ivory back to the hotel throughout the evening, leaving on the hour beginning at 9:00 PM.**
