The first time we met was in 2018 during our last year in Virginia. Charlie was finishing his contract with the Navy and Kristi was in her last semester at Christopher Newport University. We quickly bonded over our love for food, especially sushi, and discovered we had a lot in common. Neither of us figured meeting on a dating app would be the start of our story!

Moving forward to 2019, we both moved to Florida and started our careers. On the weekends, we would either go to the beach and look for shark teeth or go fishing. It was a great way for us to spend time together and unwind with our crazy work schedules. At the end of 2019, we decided we needed a furry friend...so we added Mushu to the family and he quickly became the center of our world. We take him everywhere!

As the years went by, we became closer and closer and we finally got engaged on our 5 year anniversary. Charlie popped the question on the beach where we spent most of our weekends searching for shark teeth. We are looking forward to marrying in October of 2024 and officially becoming the Sprys.
