Our Wedding

We had met at Loara High School in the year of 2018. It all started at a school track meet. After our races, we both tagged along with a mutual friend to go out to eat. Before we know it, we INSTANTLY connected. We laughed and made jokes as if we had known each other for years. The conversation flowed easily, obviously a few awkward pauses, but he made me feel comfortable and though we had a friend with us during dinner, if felt like we were the only two at the restaurant. Kristian's Memory: Something that I fondly remember that night, was this claw machine at the restaurant and Bryan played it all night long. He was super determined to win something. It even came to the point he ran out of change, and then he asked me if I had any to spare! On the very last quarter we mustered up, surely enough he wins a brown dog stuffed animal, and as a romantic gesture he gives it me. It was a very special memory for me, because if someone were to tell my 18 year-old self that this man would one day be my husband, I would tell you that you were lying! At that time I firmly believed, that there was no one on this planet that was able to handle my fiery attitude and my CRAZY family. Ever since, I have kept that same stuffed animal after all these years. And I have come to terms that Bryan has only gotten "slightly" better at claw machines. We still spend a fortune every time we enter an arcade! (hehe)! Bryan's Memory: Soon as we got our food, I noticed something off. As we were taking our first bites, I noticed that Kristian was eating her burrito in a very ODD way. Her burrito was as big as her, and she couldn't hold it properly in her hands. So she places it on the plate standing up and she started to take tiny sized bites out of the bottom of the burrito. My only thought in my mind was, "How cute!." Making a joke out of the way she eats, I just adored the way she smiled and laughed. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Funny enough as the night was ending, she was stranded with no ride home after dinner and she was adamant on walking home at 10pm. I just couldn't allow that. So I offered to take her home, not thinking that we had only just met for a few of hours before, and I was trying to give her a ride. Did anyone teach her about STRANGER DANGER! I laugh to this day, because she had met me and my parents on that very same night. And now the rest is our history. As the years proceed, we had been there for each other lovingly for 6 years. Within that time, we traveled to various places like San Diego, San Francisco, Florida, Guadalajara Cabo, Hawaii, and Japan. Under the Sakura trees, in the Kamo District, of a small country town in Japan called Kawazu was the place that Bryan proposed. He chose an intimate staircase that was leading down to the riverbed. Right under a plethora of cherry blossom trees, the petals sprinkled into the air and slowly littering the floor. He got down on one knee in a place that she has always dreamed of. Making it a reality for her, it will forever be a memory that neither of us would ever forget and will last a lifetime. As our new adventure begins, we aspire to be better versions of ourselves and we are committed to continue our love story with beautiful new memories. And the traveling doesn't stop here since there is a whole new world to be explored! We are so thankful for our friends and family for always supporting and loving us through our journey. We have seen multiple generations of love, and it has molded our relationship for the absolute best. Thank you for coming together to celebrate our love! XOXO - Kristian and Bryan
