Our story is one that was predestined by God’s love for us.

We had met 6-7 years ago at Monday Night Bible Study when Pastor Mitchell Moore introduced us to each other. Our friendship started to evolve from messaging on Facebook to the beginning of God’s phase of our relationship. At a church young adult Christmas party, David won a pink calendar at the white elephant gift exchange. Since he had to get to work early the next day and didn’t want a pink calendar, he gave it to Kristiana as a Christmas gift. She was surprised but thanked him on Facebook later that night.

We started talking more and eventually David asked Kristiana out on a date to Starbucks and she said yes. After 4-5 dates, he dropped her off at her apartment and confessed how he liked her and she said the same in turn to him. He then asked her for permission to kiss her and she said yes. After they kissed, he asked her if she would like to start a relationship and she said yes!

About 2 years later, David took her to the church prayer garden and showed her the wooden cross that his late grandfather Reverend Robert H. Bullock had carved. After confessing his love to her he got down on his right knee and proposed to her with his late grandmother Ada Peeples' ring. With joy in her heart , she said "Yes!"
