Visiting Temecula the rite of passage is wine tasting of course.. Our plan to coordinate wine tasting has changed.. We will be providing a map and list of some recommended places to visit for wine tasting and lunch.

After researching the wine tour companies, we feel people may enjoy their own tour of Temecula, especially those with kids, as there are some places that are strict with 21 and over policy.

This will give people the flexibility to go at their own pace and schedule. We would recommend making reservations ahead of time if going in larger group or for lunch/dinner. This holiday weekend will be very busy with other weddings and visitors.

Our favorite places for wine tasting are:

1) PONTE WINERY - Food/restaurants here are amazing.. Highly recommend reservations ahead of time or will be hard to get in.

2) LEONESS CELLARS - Food is amazing, reservations recommended

3) DOFFO - Motorcycle, garage vibe, good wines.. known for their reds

4) AVENSOLE - Food is great, reservations recommended, nice outdoor area, good wines

5) BOTTAIA (Sister winery to Ponte, right next door) just wines
