Matt and Kristie first met through a mutual acquaintance in December of 2014. She says they met at a Christmas party, he says they met at a bar. As it turns out, they’re both right! It was a Christmas party hosted at a local bar. Matt approached Kristie first, leading with a compliment that sparked their connection and chemistry. They spent the entire night talking and laughing, until the lights came on and they realized they were the only two people left.

That evening marked the start of a whirlwind romance, founded in friendship. Since that day, they have lived, grown, and raised children together; all while cultivating a life of love and new experiences.
