Our journey began at Bowling Green State University, where we first met while studying sport management and working together in the Athletic Ticket Office. Our bond started to form after our class trip to Super Bowl LII and taking a geography class together. We began spending time together at sporting events after work, which made our friendship stronger.

On our first date, we went to Eric’s Ice Cream and talked until close. Knowing Kyle would soon be graduating, they spent every day together until the end of the semester. This included watching several hours of the 2019 NFL Draft and Impractical Jokers. Kyle made the relationship official on May 15, 2019. A week later, Kyle graduated, and Kristin moved to Madison, Wisconsin, for a summer internship.

Kyle then pursued his graduate degree at the University of Louisville. Kristin began her career at the University of Dayton after graduating the following semester. For two years, we made our long-distance relationship work, finding ways to stay close despite the miles between us.

Once Kyle graduated, he started with the Detroit Lions. Shortly after, Kristin accepted a job at the University of Michigan. With both of us now in Michigan, the long distance was finally over. We moved to Belleville, Michigan and were ready to start this new chapter together. After moving in together, Kyle began his new job with the Detroit Tigers.

On May 15, 2023, our four-year anniversary, Kyle took Kristin back to Bowling Green, where our relationship began, and asked her to marry him. It was the perfect moment to celebrate the love that had grown between us.

In September 2023, we took another exciting step by buying our first home together in Allen Park, Michigan. Now, we can’t wait to continue building our life together filled with love, travel, sports, and family.
