With its intriguing history and outstanding geologic features, Ha Ha Tonka State Park is one state park that should not be missed. The park is a geologic wonderland featuring sinkholes, caves, a huge natural bridge, sheer bluffs and Missouri’s 12th-largest spring. The ruins of a turn-of-the-century stone castle overlook these wonders and offer impressive views of the Lake of the Ozarks and Ha Ha Tonka Spring.

LAKE OF THE OZARKS SHOOTOUT MAY 29 - JUNE 2

Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is a fund raiser for several organizations in the lake area. It consists of Lake Race/LOTO Powerfest and other events. It gives visitors the opportunity to watch power boat racing at the lake. Schedule of events are posted on website link provided here.

A picturesque 18-hole championship golf course showing off stunning lake views, The Cove offers a challenging course for avid golfers. With 72 bunkers, rolling hills and water coming into play on nine of the holes, this par-71 course is anything but tame. Porta Cima

The Club at Porto Cima (pronounced chima) is a private facility and features an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Design, a 17,000 square-foot clubhouse and a Yacht Club.

The Nicklaus Signature Course is the focal point of The Club at Porto Cima with seven holes that play beside or over The Lake. The golf course opened for play in 2000 and is considered one of Missouri’s top courses by Golf Digest.

The club’s Mediterranean-style golf clubhouse features a beautiful golf shop, men’s and ladies locker rooms – each with its own fitness area – meeting and banquet space, plus multiple food and beverage options in The Grille Room Restaurant, the 19th Hole Lounge, a private member dining room as well as outdoor dining overlooking the 18th hole and the Lake of the Ozarks.

Bear Creek Valley Golf Club is a par 72, 6796 yard layout. The course meanders through 250 acres of colorful Ozark Forest, meadows and scenic valleys along “Little Bear Creek.” The course has zoysia fairways, subtle L93 bentgrass greens, and multiple tee settings which will ensure an enjoyable, yet challenging, round of golf. The facilities include a casual restaurant and lounge, which opens daily at 7:00 A.M. Bear Creek Valley – affordable golf, casual dining, and a friendly atmosphere.
