Our Story

June 13, 2021

Tiki Tango... An Atlanta Tresure (RIP). This is where Drew and Kristin hit it off on a night out after meeting at a house party that night through mutual friends.

August 13, 2021

With Kristin's first nursing job after finishing school, she was very busy and worked a lot of weekends. Drew thought she was just not interested since she never seemed to be available. However, after explaining the unfortunate scheduling of new graduate nurses, we were finally able to agree on a date. In the 3rd booth from the front at what has since become our go-to anniversary restaurant, Valenza, is where the sparks began to fly.

November 08, 2021

Although we had been inseparable since our first date, we finally made it official on a beach trip in Seaside, Florida (our favorite beach town!)

June 15, 2024

After planning an amazing gathering at a North Georgia winery on Saturday that would include friends and family, Drew decided to switch things up and instead took a private moment on Friday night to propose at the rental cabin he booked in order to throw Kristin off of his trail. (Yes, he really did pull off a surprise!)

September 27, 2025

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are primarily outdoors. The cocktail hour will host a bar and limited seating inside of the venue and the reception will be fully tented. Ladies: As the majority of our day will be on grass, plan your shoe choice accordingly!

Can I bring a plus one?

We, unfortunately, cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow those named by invitation to celebrate with us. If you have been allotted a plus one, your guest's name will be specifically listed next to yours on the envelope of your invitation.

Are my children also invited?

We will be hosting an adults only ceremony and reception. Please use our special day as a chance to enjoy a child-free date night!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

We are expecting a prompt 4:30pm start time so please plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to give yourself plenty of time to find your seat.

when should I RSVP?

Please plan to submit your RSVP response ASAP but no later than August 16 using the RSVP tab in the menu above. If an RSVP is not submitted by this date, we will assume that you are unable to attend. Please feel free to reach out to either the bride or groom with any concerns.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is limited parking at Villa Ospo but ample additional parking will be available at the Horton House next to the venue. For those planning to drive, please consider carpooling. Otherwise, Uber/Lyft is a great choice but please allot extra time to find a driver as Jekyll is a small island and there will likely be many guests choosing this transportation.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are opting for an "unplugged" ceremony. Once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones are already silenced and put away. We want all of our guests to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the very best, unobstructed photographs.

Where should I stay?

We have 2 hotel blocks to choose from which are listed under the travel tab. There are, of course, several other hotel and Airbnb options on the island so please feel free to stay wherever is most comfortable to you!

What should I wear?

We have selected "coastal formal attire" as the dress code for our ceremony and reception. Think light and flowy meets formal.

Ladies: tea length or floor length dresses

Men: Light suits (linen/seersucker/anything breathable)

Where are you registered?

We have selected a few items directly through The Knot which will appear with images of the products on this site. We also have registries with Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn and Amazon which you will see linked under the registry tab. We are so grateful to any and all gifts as we know that setting aside the weekend to spend with us is a gift in and of itself.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

The dress code for the Welcome Party is cocktail attire.
