How We Met

Our love story began in September 2019 when we matched on Bumble. Kristin made the first move, messaging David with, “What is your favorite thing to cook?” Little did we know, that simple question would spark a lifetime of memories.

Our First Date

Our first date was a perfect blend of adventure and connection. We met at Cunningham Falls State Park and took our dogs on a beautiful hike. From that day forward, we shared countless fun and memorable dates, quickly realizing how much we loved spending time together.

Falling in Love

By December 5, 2019, we officially became a couple, and just a few weeks later, on New Year’s Eve, Kristin—encouraged by a little champagne courage—blurted out “I love you” for the first time. Luckily, David felt the same way.

Navigating Challenges

When COVID hit, it wasn’t always easy. There were times we couldn’t see each other for weeks, even months, but we talked constantly and grew even closer. Those challenges only made our relationship stronger and showed us how much we mean to each other.

Building a Life Together

In May 2022, we took a big step and bought our first home together—a place filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future.

Why We’re Saying “I Do”

David is the most sweet, kind, and thoughtful person Kristin has ever met. He makes her feel like a princess every single day. Kristin is endlessly grateful to have found someone so understanding and loving to share her life with.

As for David, he says Kristin makes him a better person every single day. Before meeting her, he didn’t truly understand what love was. Now, he can’t imagine life without her and feels incredibly lucky to be marrying his best friend and soulmate.
