Our story starts with how we met, online! Another online dating win! I was in the Poconos celebrating my birthday with some friends and matched with Steve at some point that weekend. A couple of days after returning to New York, I realized I had been talking with him quite a bit from over 100 miles away. The distance wasn't going to keep up apart though. We probably would have met up sooner than the day after Christmas, if I hadn't gotten COVID soon after my birthday. We facetimed every day for two weeks, while I was quarantined in my childhood room. I remember putting on makeup, after sleeping most of the day from being sick, just to facetime him. I was very excited for our nightly facetime dates, they meant the world to me in a time that could've been extremely lonely. Finally, on December 26th 2020, Steve came and visited me in New York. We have been together ever since!
