Is it any surprise that we connected over our love of beer & puppies? Summer 2017 - We met at (Kristin's favorite) local taproom. Five hours, several beers, and run-ins with a few of Mike's friends (Kristin swore that he staged their appearances...) - it was quite a successful first date! Halloween 2017 - We traveled to Orlando to visit friends and for Mike to run the Wine & Dine Half Marathon (ok, Kristin invited herself on Mike's trip on the premise of her Orlando expertise ;but that's besides the point...). While waiting in line for a haunted house at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights on Halloween night, Mike decided to make the relationship official - after suggestion from Kristin's friends (thanks, Dany and Rana!). Summer 2018 - Kristin & Mike decided that Sheldon and Milton should be roommates. This was a big step in Sheldon & Milton's relationship! Halloween 2018 - "Jenny & Forrest" (ok, Kristin & Mike) attended the most excellent Halloween party at Trey & Christy's! It was there that Christy planted the idea that the two should consider getting married. The next day while passing by a jeweler, Kristin jokingly asked if we should make a stop and Mike agreed without hesitating. Little did Kristin know, a ring was on reserve before they left that day! Christmas 2018 - While taking a Kimberlin family photo, Kristin noticed Mike shaking during the last few photos together. As everyone dispersed, Mike held Kristin back and asked for one more photo of just the two of them. Some of the Kimberlins immediately recognized what was about to happen. As Mike got down on one knee, the volume in the room increased. He said lots of nice things - most of which Kristin could not hear due to the excitement and chatter from the audience - and then popped the question. Lots of tears, group hugs, and champagne followed! Spring 2022 - finally, 3 years from original booking, 1 "backyard" ceremony, and 3 wedding dates later - we're finally celebrating with friends &&nbsp;family. We can't wait to see you!

You have the option to make reservations by phone or online. Please identify yourself as part of the Kimberlin/Hobkirk Wedding Group when making your reservation through Loews Reservations Center, 888-575-6397. If you prefer to book online, please visit the website by clicking “Book a Room” below. When you make your reservations, it is necessary to guarantee the room to a credit card. Note that a deposit in the amount of 1 night's room + tax will be collected at the time of booking, and cancellation within 48 hours of check-in will result in forfeiture of the deposit.&nbsp; Reservations must be booked by Monday, 02/14/22 to be considered for the special group rate. Check-in *begins at 4:00 PM and checkout *concludes at 11:00 am. The hotel will make every effort to provide you with a room starting at 4:00 PM on the date of your check-in. Guests arriving early may be provided alternate options to begin preparations if your room is not available. Due to traditional business levels on weekend evenings, early check-in requests may not be available. In a case where rooms may not be available at 4:00 pm, the hotel will make every effort to provide a location within the hotel for you to prepare for the evening's events. Luggage storage will be provided for your items while attempting to secure a room for check in. At check in, you will be asked to confirm your departure date. In the event of an unscheduled early departure, there will be charge of $50.00 applied to the guest account. The current overnight valet parking rate is $45 per night, plus 25% tax ($56.25 per night total). Transportation will be provided from the Loews to the wedding venue, which is approximately .6 miles away (or a 6-minute drive). Should your preferred room type not be available, feel free to contact us at thekimberkirks@gmail.com and we will gladly connect with the hotel to assist.

We are offering complimentary valet parking to our guests at The Lucy, but please note that you MUST&nbsp;arrive at the venue&nbsp;on Locust Street (perpendicular to Broad Street) to enjoy this option. Due to city ordinances and surrounding businesses, you will not be able to utilize this service if you arrive on Broad Street.
