Chris and I first met November 22, 2014, at our best friends birthday party. We briefly dated, and although there was a spark, life took us in different directions. Over the years, when we would connect with our mutual friends, our feelings for each other continued to develop. In June of 2018, Chris and I were the Best Man and the Maid of Honor in our friends wedding. We quickly realized that we were both wanting to pursue something beyond a great friendship.

While on our family vacation, unknown to me, Chris had ring he would take with him every evening looking for the perfect opportunity to ask me to be his wife. Chris proposed to me during an evening walk on the beach. This perfect vacation couldn't have been any more special.
