For those of you who don't know the story of how we met... here you go :) I had just moved to Fayetteville, NC to start my 4 year emergency medicine residency. Of course as soon as I settled in, I immediately started researching which gym I wanted to join! A quick little google search popped up a gym called TruFit, which happened to be about 5 minutes from my new apartment, how convenient! I went to the website, signed up for a free 5 day pass, put all my information in, and went to bed. The next day I was at the pool, soaking up the nice southern weather, when I got a text from Vic, asking me when I'd like to come in and check out the new gym and start my free pass. I decided to come in right after I was done at the pool (even though he didn't really want me to come in that day lol). Little did I know I was about to meet the love of my life... You could say it was love at first sight for both of us :) We officially met for the first time with sparks flying, he gave me a little tour of the gym, and I got in my first work out! After I was done with my lift, as I was leaving, he asked if it was okay if he texted me to ask "how I liked the gym" :P Of course I said yes! After a few days of texting nonstop and getting to know each other better, he asked me out on a date! We went to Chipotle, and the rest is history :) Here we are almost 7 years later planning our big day to tie the knot! I'm eternally grateful that Trufit lead me to you... my true love :)
