Will and I met online, Tinder to be exact! I was working in the Houston/Galleria Area and he lived in the Heights, within a good 5-10 mile radius from my office. However, I was living in Alvin at the time and was driving an hour plus to and from work every day. Will had his radius set for matches/dates within 5 miles of his house! I was at work one day on a break scrolling through Tinder and I find Will's profile (thought he was VERY HANDSOME), I swipe and he swipes, and WE MATCHED! We started chatting near the end of the work day, so we were both pretty tied up/busy with driving home, traffic, etc. We give each other our phone numbers and immediately start texting back and forth, and we hit it off very well! We had a lot in common and the conversation was never dull. Chatting again the next day, we decide to plan a date night for that weekend. Our first date was at the Heights Beer Garden, where we split a charcuterie board, a soft pretzel, wines and a few beers. He made me laugh and he made me smile that I could not wait for another date and to spend more time with him! Almost 5 years in the making and there is never a day that goes by that he does not make me feel loved and appreciated, so excited to marry him come October <3
