If you asked either of us exactly when we met, neither of us could give you an exact date. But we both agree it was sometime in 2016 at the familiar Crescent Lake Inn. We both frequented the place after work, and for the first few months, our interactions were just brief conversations, nothing more than casual hellos after a long day. But those moments laid the foundation for something special.

One of our favorite memories from that year was our first trip to Pittsburgh in August to see a Pirates game. What started as a fun outing quickly turned into the beginning of a deeper connection between us. From there, we kept in touch, though our relationship remained a bit on and off—especially after Sean moved from Waterford to the east side. But every now and then, he'd drive over to visit the friends he missed at Crescent Lake Inn, and we'd spend weekends catching up.

Then came the pandemic. Sean started staying over at my house for a few weeks at a time, and before we knew it, his things started to appear more frequently. By the end of 2020, it was clear—he wasn't just visiting anymore. He had found a new home with me.

And on December 22, 2024, with our families gathered around us, Sean popped the question. It was a perfect moment, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to start this new chapter of our lives together.
