<p>The couple met in 2017 while working at Longhorn Steakhouse in Columbia, Missouri, as both Brendan and Kristin attended college at Mizzou. They found out that they grew up only 10 minutes from each other in St. Louis and bonded over their love of St. Louis sports. After Brendan graduated from Mizzou and moved back home, the couple made it work while Kristin still had one more year in college. Kristin moved back to St. Louis to attend graduate school at WashU, and the two soon after rented their first home together. Brendan's dog Cali and Kristin's cat Ivy became sisters (more like cohabitating roommates). The couple bought their first home in 2023 and have lived there ever since. Through their 9 years together, Brendan and Kristin have been through a lot, including supporting each other through the loss of their beloved Cali. They have enjoyed countless concerts and sporting events, many trips to the beach, and cozy nights watching their favorite shows. While on a family trip to Gulf Shores in 2024, Brendan finally popped the question, and Kristin said yes! They are looking forward to forever!</p>
