Grand Cayman is the largest of the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean.
Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac make up the Cayman Islands.
Situated below Cuba, the average temperature ranges from 79-86 degrees year round.
1 Cayman Dollar (KYD) = 1.2 US Dollars (USD)
Cayman dollars, US dollars, and credit cards are accepted throughout the island. American Express acceptance is limited.
The Seafire is a quick 15 minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM).
To get from GCM to the Seafire, you can arrange for a private transfer through the hotel, get a taxi in front of the airport, or rent a car.
Taxis run throughout the island but rates are quite high for short distances.
Taxis only accept cash, KYD or USD.
If you plan to explore the island during your stay, renting a car is highly recommended.
Car rentals are available through Avis or Hertz at the airport. You may also rent at the Seafire through Hertz. The car will then be delivered to the hotel.
When driving in Grand Cayman you will be driving on the left side of the road. There are no stoplights on the island, only roundabouts.
