Things to Do While You're Here

Fort Collins offers a variety of activities to cater to all interests, making it an ideal destination for a wedding. Whether you are into outdoor adventures, local history, craft beer, or simply exploring the town’s charm, you’ll find plenty to do before the wedding.

Situated just 60 miles north of Denver and tucked between the prairie and the mountains, Fort Collins is the last city on Interstate 25 north before you hit the Wyoming border. At 5,000 feet above sea level, it's also a gateway city to northern Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest. And it has plenty to offer on its own, including a fun art, music and theater scene, a range of locally sourced eateries, miles of trails and acres of open spaces, and a well-deserved reputation as the Craft Beer Capital of Colorado.

If you choose to see areas other than Fort Collins, you will be only 1 hour to downtown Denver, and less than an hour from Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder, and also Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Here's a list of top activities to enjoy in the local area:

**Explore Old Town Fort Collins**

Old Town is the heart of the city, offering charming brick streets, boutique shops, local art galleries, and a great selection of cafés and restaurants. The architecture is historic, and it's an ideal place for a leisurely stroll or a fun afternoon of shopping and dining. You will love the small-town feel and the lively, artsy atmosphere.
