Pretty Place is a very special place to Casey, his family, and close friends. The Chapel is located at YMCA Camp Greenville, which served as a summer camp for Casey and many of his friends for several summers. The summers spent at Camp Greenville along with the sunrise services observed at Pretty Place, were some of the more formative times of their younger lives. After losing our dear friend Gavin in Highschool, Camp Greenville and Pretty Place Chapel continued to serve as a place of gathering and healing for our friends and family. Gavin's memorial plaque is located along the ledge of the Chapel as a testament to how truly special this place is. We would like to think that if he were still here with us today, that he would be standing right up there with us on this special day so we decided to honor him by leaving a space for him amongst the groomsmen. Over the years Pretty Place has continued to remain very special to many of us, and we could not think of a better place for us to all gather once again.

We love your little ones, but unfortunately we are unable to accommodate everyone's children, so we respectfully ask that only adults attend. Thank you for understanding!

From Travelers Rest, (reception/hotel location) it is a 45 minute drive each way. It is a winding mountain road with amazing views on the way up, and breathtaking mountain views when you reach the top. We recommend arriving between 10:30-10:45 so you can enjoy some time there before the ceremony.

Considering that we will have to drive down the mountain from the ceremony, we wanted to give everyone time to enjoy several scenic overlooks on the way down, go grab lunch in the quaint town of Travelers Rest, get refreshed, to have dinner and celebrate the rest of the evening.
