Full disclosure… Facebook. It just has a way of bringing people together. 6/9/23

After talking to each other for a couple of weeks, they went on their first date. They went to Golden Chopsticks and then to walk the Rose Gardens at Sinnisippi Park along the river. 6/30/23

It wasn’t long before they were meeting each other’s families. Jerrid has three young boys and Kristina has a teenager. Eventually they were all going to have to meet and see how things worked. The first big family outing was to Edward’s Apple Orchard and the kids had a blast, definitely the start of a Family tradition.

The holidays came and the were spent together as one big family.

In February 2024, Jerrid and the boys moved in with Kristina and Topher.

Jerrid and the boys join Kristina and Topher on the annual family vacation up to the lake only this year, Jerrid (and Topher) had a special surprise in store.

Jerrid took Kristina into town on an Ice cream date and they walked around Chetek. They walked down to the lake and watched the sun set, it was beautiful. While Jerrid and Kristina were in town, Topher was setting the pier up for the proposal. When they got back to the resort everyone was still at dinner, Jerrid took Kristina down to the pier and what they saw was something truly magical. Candles lined the pier and Brad Paisley’s We Danced played in the background. Jerrid took Kristina by the hand and led her to the end of the pier where a bouquet of flowers waited. They began to dance to the same song that they danced to on their first date at the Rose Gardens. Jerrid kneeled down and pulled out a ring and asked if she would merry him. Well as we all know, she said yes! And if you know these two tears were definitely shed between the two of them.
