Our Story

December 10, 2021

Drew and Kristina attended their work holiday party, not knowing each other yet - Drew just started at Salem Academy about a month before. They had an instant connection that night, bonding over music and other common interests. They went bar hopping with their colleagues, and gave each other their numbers. Kristina, however, thought that Drew only liked her as a friend...

December 20, 2021

After talking for a little bit, Drew finally asked Kristina on a date. Turns out he liked her more than a friend :) They went and had their first of many breakfast dates at the Ugly Mug Diner in Salem, MA. After their breakfast, the two spent the afternoon together walking around Salem. In about a month, Drew asked Kristina to be his girlfriend.

March 03, 2022

One of the things that truly connected Kristina and Drew was their love for music. After dating for a little over a month, they went to their first concert together - Tyler the Creator. They had the best night and pretty much decided that this was it and they were in love.

As soon as Maisie (Kristina's dog) met Drew, they became obsessed with one another.

May 29, 2022

Pretty quickly, Drew and Kristina started sharing memories with each other and their loved ones. Here is a picture from Kristina and her roommates' "Pink Hot American Summer" Memorial Day party. That night, Drew lost his keys while he jumped over a bonfire (classic). The next day, he and Kristina went to his parents' house to get the spare. This was the first time Kristina met her future in laws, Cindy and Scott!

Kristina bonds with Drew's Friends

Kristina also quickly became close with Drew's friends/roommates. As soon as she was introduced to this ridiculous crew, she fit right in immediately. Kristina thankfully shared the same twisted, bizarre, and borderline concerning sense of humor that Drew and his friends have.

July 04, 2022

Drew was becoming a part of Kristina's family as well. He accompanied her and her family to their yearly Fourth of July trip to Bridgton, Maine. Fun fact: Drew also grew up going to Bridgton, Maine every summer for the Fourth of July.

Another VERY important person in Kristina's life is her little sister, Gabby. As soon as they met, her and Drew instantly become two peas in a pod :)

Drew and Kristina make a decision that truly changed the trajectory of their relationship - going on a cross-country roadtrip to California and back. Both a dream of theirs, they decided to go for it. With only knowing each other for about 6 months, everyone thought they were crazy. But little did everyone know, this trip solidified for both Kristina and Drew that this relationship was going to make it to the long haul.

Best trip ever :)

Drew and Kristina spent the month traveling the country. From the bright lights of Chicago to the deep blue waters of California, the two love birds explored the many beautiful landscapes of America from coast to coast. They had the most incredible experience of their lives, and knew that they were soulmates. Soon after coming home from the trip, Drew bought Kristina an engagement ring.

Kristina goes on vacation with Drew's family

Drew's family goes camping at Hermit Island in Maine every summer. When Kristina and Drew returned from their amazing cross-country trip, they hopped right back in the car and joined Drew's family up at the Hermit Island campground. They had a great time hanging at the Maine beaches and around the campfires. These crazy kids even decided to prolong their trip even more by spending a night in Acadia afterwards!

This photo is from the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year. One of the best parts of Drew and Kristina's relationship was getting to work together as teachers in Salem, MA. They formed some of their best memories, especially with their fave coworkers Lydia and Bri :)

December 10, 2022

A year after they first met, Drew and Kristina attended their work holiday party. After having a blast with their coworkers into the wee hours of the morning, they stumbled back to Drew's apartment. Drew asked Kristina to walk to the beach a minute down the road, but she was already ready to get into bed (it was about 3 AM at this point...). Drew, then, got down on one knee next to his bed, and asked Kristina to marry him. Her answer was an overwhleming - YES!!

Countdown to the big day

Since our engagement, we have shared many memories that have already been so meaningful to our journey, such as FINALLY getting to move in together, both throwing each other awesome surprise parties, and being there for each other as we both pursue our passions (congrats to Kristina for getting into grad school and killing it in her Master's program!) Each day brings more love, laughter, and joy. We are excited to celebrate our love with all of you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our very special day :)
