When is the RSVP deadline?
All guests must RSVP via our website by 09/28/24. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will assume you will not be attending, and therefore we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate you come our special day. Receiving RSVPs in a timely manner allows us to communicate final head counts to all of our vendors, so please respond accordingly.
What will your dress code be?
Formal/Black Tie Optional -- We can't wait to see our friends and family all dressed up so please come dressed to IMPRESS! Men may wear formal suits/tux's with bow ties/neckties. Ladies may wear any color formal floor length gowns, or cocktail dresses, but remember to leave white to the bride! Our wedding colors are green and gold, black and white, but feel free to wear any fall colored attire.
For welcome drinks, feel free to wear what you would like. The bridal party will be dressed nice (semi-formal) from the rehearsal dinner. Just dress like you would for a nice night out or a date night.
What airport should we fly into?
George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
It is only 25 minutes away from the hotel.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an ADULTS-ONLY event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. The only children in attendance will be the bride and groom's nephew who is part of the wedding party and niece. Due to venue space and budget, we had to make this tough decision, but we thank you for understanding!
Do I get a plus one?
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only, and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation by name.
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes, those of you driving in, or renting a car, there is plenty of parking at the venue. Please remember to drink responsibly and plan ahead. You are also able to leave your car parked there over night.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The wedding day is a combination of both indoor and outdoor. The ceremony and the reception will both be indoors, while cocktail hour will take place on a grassy outdoor patio.
Will there be an afterparty?
Yes! Let's keep the good times going! There will be an after party located at Sawyer Park Icehouse just down the street from the venue. All of our guests are invited to join us for a nightcap after the reception, from 10:00pm-12:00am
Do you have a registry?
Please do not feel obliged to buy us a gift, all that we are expecting is you. If you would like to give something, a contribution towards our dream honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. You can find that on our website under the "Registry" tab.
What is the weather going to be like?
As of right now, the weather should be pretty nice. Friday will be 73 and sunny, Saturday will be 76 and partly cloudy and Sunday will be cloudy and 80. In the evening it will get pretty chilly (49/50/65) so bring a light wrap for the evening.
