Our Wedding

We met as many couples in the modern world do, on a dating app. Our first date was at a local sushi restaurant where we ate and talked until the restaurant closed down, but have never been back to that restaurant since. Over the next few months, we bonded over our mutual interests in Survivor, Iowa State sports, desserts, puzzles, and board games. Kristina encouraged Tanner to get his first ever pet Iris, an elderly tortoiseshell cat, and since then we've added Coco, the chocolate lab, and Sol, the flame-point Siamese cat, to our little family. We have already begun our dream of traveling the world together, visiting Mexico with Tanner's family, Costa Rica with Kristina's family, and a trip to Denmark and Sweden. We got engaged in Ankeny in June of 2024, at a park near our townhouse we enjoyed taking walks to. Special thanks to Sandra, the matron of honor, for being our hidden photographer. Shortly after, we bought a house together in West Des Moines and can't wait to start the rest of our lives together!
