It all started when they met in food class in grade 10. Between parties and school they enjoyed each other's company until Justin finally asked Kristine out for a date. April 1st 2017, they went out for Burger love at Craft Burger. This marked the beginning of their journey and promptly led them to being each other’s prom dates.

Following High school things quickly became more difficult as Kristine moved away to Halifax to pursue her undergrad while Justin stayed home for college. Long distance was hard but being able to see each other on weekends was worth it. Soon Justin moved to Calgary with his best man, Logan, to further his plumbing career. Long distance became harder with the inability to see each other as often. To allow each other to grow Kristine and Justin took a break from their relationship. Despite being on a break Kristine and Justin couldn't stop talking to each other. They knew that no matter what they would remain in each other’s life. Eventually they couldn’t deny their love for each and made it official again when they both came home for christmas.

The following February in 2019, Kristine’s family took a trip to Disneyworld and invited Justin to meet them in Florida, all the way from Alberta. This trip was life changing in many ways. It showed Kristine and Justin how much they needed each other. On this trip Justin also gave Kristine her first ring, the promise ring. Justin knew that Kristine was the one and decided he must move back home. Within months Justin was back in PEI living with Kristine’s family while she remained in Halifax. Justin eventually came to Halifax with Kristine. They finally got to share a home together with Kristine’s sister, Ashley, along for the ride.

Covid hit just as Kristine was finishing school. With this in mind Kristine and Justin moved back to PEI to quarantine with Kristine’s family. While this was a good time to be close with the family it was time for them to find their own spot to start their family. First Kristine and Justin got their house and second came Ollie, their spoiled fur baby. A year later, unexpectedly, Justin found out about Cooper and knew that he had to join their growing family.

Fast forward to October 13th 2023, Baird family trip to New York City. Justin prepared with a ring in his pocket. Kristine and Justin were dressed up for dinner and a Broadway show. When they got a moment alone, Justin pulled out the ring he got specially made for his princess. He proclaimed his love for Kristine after saying “I have something for you”! The rest is yet to come!
