This is my little (big) brother. I've known him since his birth. We did everything together growing up. As time went on, we had changing interests and skills. He usually needed help with his math homework, or I didn't know how to jumpstart a car. We may be different but he has always been a brother with the biggest heart. No matter how much we annoy each other he is always there for me. He inspired me with his own journey into the Marines, to make me join the Army. We have never looked back since!

I met Brian in junior high. He was always the other guy that Tyler hung out with, and I figured I needed to see what this dude was all about. We bonded immediately and became best friends. Ultimate frisbee, video games, soccer, girls, Spikeball, were just some of the many topics that peaked our mutual interest. We both visited each other during college and try to see one another whenever possible. His dirty jokes, wit, sass, and free spirit haunts me wherever I go.

Kelley and I both enlisted in the Army around the same time. We both got to basic training, surrounded by a lot of not-so-bright people. Paying the price for mistakes, or for us laughing at people's mistakes, we got very close. We then went to AIT together in Texas, where we spent long nights playing video games, bowling, and pressuring one another to make dumb purchases. He still lives in Utah where we try to convince the other to move states.

Tyler and I knew of each other in elementary school, our moms worked together. He then invited me over one day to brag about his stupid, yet impressive Bionicle collection and introduced me to Star Wars Battlefront. Completing the trifecta with Brian, we all established a friendship to last a lifetime. Even though we butt heads sometimes, we always challenged one another and pushed one another. For the record- I stabbed him first.

There's nothing better than somebody who supports and even encourages your interest in weird sports. Ben and I met through Brian and rented an apartment together in upstate NY. We would build our home into a Spikeball hub and travel all over to play, compete, and watch Spikeball. We would aggravate each other like brothers, but always find a way to come back and do cool stuff. He is always down for anything, and for that we built a bond much stronger than my cut serve.

This dude and I go wayyy back. We would constantly feud with one another about baseball. Who was better (I was) and who would make the high school team (neither of us did). We hung out constantly in high school blasting music, making trick shots, and talking as much trash as humanly possible. He is a dear friend that has always been there for me, good and bad. Nothing was better than showing up unannounced at his door at Siena for mandatory Tomfoolery and making the night memorable.

Livy

Gonzo and I were two peas in a pod when we met one another at AIT. We both held ourselves to a high standard and were competing against one another almost every month for the Soldier of the Month competition. He always won. I don't like to talk about it. He always had in intense drive and always helped others. Whether it was cracking jokes in formation at 5 am, or waiting for his lactose-intolerant-self to finish his war crimes in the bathroom, he is somebody who loves to laugh.

We are so happy to have you in beautiful Colorado! We know many of you are traveling from far away, so we wanted to help you make the most of your stay! For those of you that are coming from out of state, we have provided extensive notes to guide you on your trip.

Denver International Airport If you are flying into Denver International Airport (DIA), it will most likely be the cheapest flight, as it is the major airport in Colorado. Do note that it is about 1.5 hours from Colorado Springs. Flying into Denver will require a rental car to commute to Colorado Springs for the wedding. This is an added expense, but allows you to see more of Colorado!

Colorado Springs Airport If you are flying into Colorado Springs Airport (COS), it is typically a much more expensive flight. This is a smaller airport and many times has a layover in Denver. If you do not plan on a rental car, this airport is a 20-30 minute commute to downtown Colorado Springs. It is up to you if you would prefer a vehicle or spend the extra money to avoid renting a car.

Places to Stay Colorado Springs isn't a highly populated city (compared to Denver), but it spans over a very large area. We are working to provide some places to stay and will update you as soon as we can! We do encourage people to group together and find AirBnB's to make their stay cheap and enjoy the area! The following map below are areas we highly discourage anyone from staying. These are the rougher parts of Colorado Springs. As a good rule of thumb, the northern and western portions of the Springs would be the best places to look!

Travel

A must for anyone visiting from out of town. Come see beautiful red rock formations, wildlife, and hiking!

Our go-to spot for wings, traditional Irish dishes, and some Guinness!

Best ice cream in Colorado Springs! Yellow cake, "moose on the loose," and Dutch chocolate are our favorites!

Josh & John's

A small sandwich shop in Manitou Springs. They provide tasty combinations and delicious mate tea. This is where we had our first date!

The Maté Factor Café

Our favorite brewery with some amazing views of the front range. Veteran owned and operated, they have some of the best beer and plenty of food stands to choose from!

Red Leg Brewing Company

It's not New York Pizza, but it's the best we can find here in Colorado!

Ruffrano's Hell's Kitchen Pizza Manitou Springs

This is a five-star resort in Colorado Springs that has had celebrities, political figures, and other famous guests. Tough to afford a stay here, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants open to the general public. Even just grabbing a coffee from the cafe and having a walk around is beautiful!
