Kristine and Ryan met in September of 2018 at Wagner College. They were both in grad school working in the Athletic Department together. In order for Ryan to get to his office, he had to pass by Kristine's desk; which resulted in frequent coffee chats. Finally, after a few pick-up basketball games, he asked her out on a date. Ryan graduated from Wagner in December of 2018 and the two remained friends after he went on to a new job. When Kristine graduated a year later, Ryan decided to make it official and the two have been together since.

From then on they have been inseparable. Playing sports together (preferably basketball or pickleball when Kristine convinces Ryan to join), going to the beach or watching any Philadelphia or Penn State sports team, happens together.

Three and a half years later, Ryan got down on one knee in their favorite spot on the Hudson River in Hoboken, New Jersey. She said yes immediately with tears in her eyes before Ryan could even stand-up from his knee.

Now their friends and family get to join in to celebrate their love and unity together at their favorite place, the Jersey Shore.
