Kristine and Brandon are the two opposites that attracted: Kristine, an outgoing salsa dancer met Brandon, an introverted car guy, through mutual friends in High School. Despite their differences, they bonded through their cultural upbringings, became good friends and even attended Prom together. After high school, they went their separate ways but reconnected several years later. Brandon asked Kristine to go to lunch at Open Sesame, and Kristine gave Brandon a 1hr window of time in her busy schedule to make it happen. Thankfully, Brandon followed through and impressed Kristine with his determination. Shortly after, Brandon offered to help Kristine move into her new apartment and after several years, the friendship developed into a loving relationship. Brandon was first introduced to Kaiden during the move, and their relationship developed over the years from being best buds to Brandon taking an active and consistent father-figure role in Kaiden's life. Brandon came into Kristine and Kaiden's life as a friend and God's blessings turned them into a family.
