Payton and Kristine met in high school, where they knew each other but were not close friends. Following graduation, they both attended Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) where Kristine was roommates with one of her best friends and current matron of honor, Haley Hellmann. Haley, Payton, and Kristine all attended high school together, and Payton and Haley continued their friendship at SEMO. The three would hangout often, and it didn’t take long for Payton and Kristine to start dating. They dated for a few years, but decided to take time apart to grow as individuals. Kristine graduated from SEMO and moved back home to St. Charles for graduate school while Payton continued his education at SEMO. After a few years apart, the pair reconnected and the rest is history! They now live together in St. Charles with their dog Lulu, and they are so excited to begin their journey as a married couple!
